There are plenty of America’s out there. Lord, last time on a jet was back in the days we were trying to get one of the three of us in to check on the folks and keep all informed about how their situation was being managed. It turned out to be simpler to just drive the 800 miles for me. Not so easy for sister Ann, up in Anchorage, or my brother Mike who was splitting time between Flagstaff and Massachusetts.
Here is a picture of California, just after crossing the line from Arizona. With all the complications of Today, I can report that travel is OK. United did their job professionally, and everything in this vast assemblage of systems, preparation, timelines and all the rest happened with routine functionality.
I am looking at Point Loma, and the memories of living in this delightful town are flooding back. I am delighted to be back in one of my favorite towns in the world. You will be subjected to more, I am afraid, but this is a great trip with a great focus. And more on that as it comes!
