These are eight of The Salts. They are busy catching up this morning. Well, Splash is still dozing at the six o’clock position, for those who recall how to tell time on those circle things with “hands” that point but had no fingers. The other ones? That is DeMille at the “Three,” overlooking “Rhino” and ‘Rocket” at eleven and three while Vic smokes his way at seven. Melissa agreed to the do the lead-in this morning. She insisted that we include links to the Supreme Court decisions, and we agreed, since that means we had to do nothing creative whatsoever with the legal reasonings they contain.

The last of the cases on this year’s docket will be announced next Wednesday. They include some that might affect the Election this Fall. If it happens as scheduled, of course, though some think tht may be decided by other events in the week to come. That includes the Debate, scheduled for next Thursday. We have been informed the President is taking a week at Camp David to get ready.
Considering some of the topics of discussion will be the decisions that will not be released until the day before the moderated discussion, that will require either telepathy or clairvoyance. We are thankful both have been demonstrated in abundance in the campaign thus far. So, there are all sorts of things the Legal Section has told us to not only ignore in the Daily, but to try not to think about too hard. We have agreed, so long as we can laugh about the entire proposition. We have agreed to record some of the weekend production meetings. We will then post them with an added caption that they are Deep or Cheap fakes, and start Happy Hour early. It is the weekend, after all. We have a lot to catch up on!
