Press reports indicate Iran did their bit with missiles arcing in the heavens this morning. They responded to the Israeli ground offensive in southern Lebanon with a barrage of ballistic missiles today, less than 24 hours after the Israelis initiated a limited incursion to target Hezbollah assets.
The IDF said all Israeli civilians were waiting out the attack in bomb shelters across much of central Israel. No word yet on how large this attack will be be. The previous direct missile attack on the Israeli homeland featured hundreds of rockets largely defeated by the Iron Dome defenses. This appears to be general war, with strikes ranging from Yemen across Gaza, Israel and Lebanon with over 100 rockets flying south from the vicinity of Tehran.
There will be a response.
