The Eve of Something!

The Eve of Something!

It’s Christmas Eve’s Eve, so DeMille is attempting to get things wrapped up before things start going all Green and Red and Star-Sparkled tomorrow. There was a trip to the Arrowine Cheese Store over on North Glebe including most of the Creative Section and talk about going south after we heard the talk about the Canal.

Apparently there is some talk about getting it back, since we built it, all accomplished in a perfectly legal manner without need of starting another war in this hemisphere. It is a favorite topic, since we have transited the narrow waterway, north and south which is the way to get east and west.

Vic’s grandfather dug a shallow trench alongside the Big Ditch a century ago so they could speak on the telephone. Times and tech, you know. Marie Curie discovered radium on this day, 126 years ago, which is an eve all it’s own.

Here is the public service announcement since this is starting quick, now that the Arrowine is starting to make things a little merry!

We are fairly sure it will be the same Santa here in North Arlington, but with the excitement on the Hill maybe something grander will pop up! ‘Tis the Season!
