The games of Summer are continuing as Fall looms. Issues are war, food and energy. In terms of what is happening in one of the problem areas:

· Ukraine and Russia seal deal to open Odesa port 22 July

· World wheat prices fell by more than 6%, (to pre-war prices)

· 1st World hopes for cost-of-living break
· Ukraine is major source of wheat, barley, corn & sunflower oil
· Has been unable to ship most crops since 02/2022
· Like Russian gas to Germany, puts Putin in decision point
· Orders RU forces to rocket Odesa in the evening after conference!
· Welcome to a possible chilly winter, Europe!
