There was a great turn-out at the first Celebration of Naval Attaches- 50 Attendees for inaugural network event and celebration of Line and Intelligence Officers who have served as attaches around the world- making history! - Sea stories and lessons learned- some true- were exchanged in high spirits
- Tales flowed of life abroad in historic times- Cold War Moscow and Stockholm, Paris, Singapore and Hong Kong just a few of the exotic locales on the Navy attaché circuit.
- The cast of characters included Mr. Todd Epply from Navy’s Attaché Affairs Office, sharing the vision for the exciting role of today’s Naval Attaché.
- RADM Paul Becker (Paris) and legend Paul Lasko (Moscow) were among the luminaries at the event, hosted by NIP’s Tony Brock.
- Others in attendance included veteran navy attaches, current trainees, and aspiring junior officers — shipmates all.
- Another great opportunity for NIP seniors and juniors to connect in such a wonderful venue; complete with a range of delicious wines, tasty appetizers, IPA beers, and fine cigars.
