The messaging had started rapidly on Monday with holiday volume and wide spectrum. Thankfully, it is restricted air space here, so no drone-related activity in the Fifteen Minute County’s night. Well, the part of it north of Rt. 50. Clouds obscured the Moon the Cowboy State Daily published. It was along with the news about the strange assassination in Moscow of a Lieutenant General, chief of Putin’s radiation and chem weaponry development.

We took a poll and had mixed results. From a tradecraft stand-point, the first guess was the event was part of a Ukrainian hit to disrupt the RU rocket campaign. But it is also reminiscent of the anti-leadership campaign the Israelis have just managed against Hamas, Hezbollah and now Assad. And we do not claim to understand events in Ottawa, London, Paris and Berlin. So there.

The Gen X and Zoomers were more interested in what was going on here, and some of it happened late yesterday when Kristina was headed to Crystal City near West Port or whatever they are calling Pentagon Row these days. Kristina was looking for help from the others who were frankly at a loss for the scope of things that would have been things that triggered “all hands, General Quarters,” sorts of things.

Here’s the snap from Splash, just to show that although short, there is some holiday activity in the Transition. “Mr. Trump acting like he is President, already, the VP on some sort of break, the new one, Mr. Vance, causing a traffic jam over on Glebe Road yesterday trying to get to Lubber Run for an activity with one of his kids. The family is in Del Ray, or are/were for the moment, which is analogous to the situation with the heads of state in at least three major allied nations.”

Kristina’s challenge was the latest one about the automotive incident at the Pentagon that featured an officer injury and at least three caution areas Legal told DeMille to try to minimize in otherwise significant public safety stories. And that was just the start of the fight over the aftermath of another deranged jouvenile who walked into a school to shoot the place up. The individual preferred the pronouns “he/him” or something. We don’t claim to understand that either.

So, this is how the Production Meeting Ended this morning. The shooting brought up a conversation about how the FMC and places like Madison, WI, and Ann Arbor, MI, all share the same vibe. That is in the “backlist” category, but there are some old pieces that have a strange resonance at the moment.
