Sunday Story

It is a lovely cool morning in Virginia’s Piedmont. The blue skies of heaven have a slight tinge of dust down near the horizon line. There had been a plan to tell a story this morning about some of the happenings on The Hill, but reality intruded with a call from family traveling on a jet, headed west, racing against time.

There is much to this story, but it will be told after painful events reach resolution. Since only a small part of the story is mine to tell, I will have leave it at that this morning. But, should you have a moment, remember this morning how precious our lives are. If prayer is part of your life, we ask for one of peace and gentle memory for those who need it. That would be a welcome addition to the early news this morning.

God’s grace to those who need it. And love to those whose presence brightened our lives.
