Well, the good news is that we finally have a message for people to campaign on this November. I think it is “Kids in Cages,” which resonates with all the parents out there (pro and con).

It is not that I haven’t complained about whiplash here in The Swamp, but this was remarkable. There we were, peacefully contemplating Korean nuclear weapons, and then we were looking at horrific images of children in DHS kennels. For a moment I thought Kim Chong Un was responsible.

Of course, the initial pictures (like the one above) were taken in 2014, which hurt the narrative blaming the Administration, but thankfully we shook it off and were off to the races on the Next Big Thing.

Coverage of the kennels on the mainstream media outlets dwarfed that devoted to the hearings devoted to the Inspector General’s report on the Hillary Clinton email investigation. To my growing horror, I discovered that the leadership of the FBI was actually comprised of metaphorical mental Little People.

It is all amazing. I don’t know how we are going to top this for next week’s edition, but based on experience, I have every confidence that we will.
