Swamp Postcard: The Plague of Spring

Hi! It has been a while since you got a nice cheery postcard from Your Nation”s Capital. Maybe this isn’t it, either, but one does what one can in times of crisis. The brilliant pink of the first foliage of the spring are fading now, and the green quilt is thickening for the summer.

There is a bit to cover since the last, but I am not going to worry about that now. The last card still had Christmas stuff on it, and we were impeaching someone. Time flies when you are having fun.

More next week- I can only presume there will be trillions of things to talk about.

Then the key phrase from our happy city, where unemployment is reported to be 18%. “Having a wonderful time! Wish you were here!”
